- County right-of-way e-bike and micromobility rules on Crandon Boulevard: Applies only to County-maintained Crandon Boulevard between the northern Village of Key Biscayne limit and Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, and only after the municipality enters an interlocal agreement. E-bikes are limited to 20 mph, sidewalk and walkway riding is prohibited except to park, and riding is limited to bike lanes when available or streets posted at 30 mph or less. The ordinance took effect 10 days after July 21, 2026 enactment and sunsets two years later; execution of the required interlocal agreement was not confirmed.

Class 3 is barred on the West Orange Trail. Riders must be at least 15 on public roads and property, carry government photo ID, and comply with a $100 civil-penalty and guardian-liability provision. The ordinance became effective immediately January 8, 2026.
